House GOP discussing repeal of ObamaCare employer mandate

This is great news for employers with more than 51 employees. The fines the report filing takes time and money from employers in industries that are low paid such as Restaurants, Home Health Agencies and small manufacturing. Plans offered are only Preventative Care or MEC plans.

These plans do not take care of ongoing health issues, prescription drugs or emergency care. Employees can not apply for an individual plan and have subsidy. Most of the employees are minimum wage and can not afford the cost of insurance. Other programs that provide care can no longer offer reduced rates because the employee has “group insurance”. All Americans should be able to choose the coverage they want, not what is forced on them.
